If you have lower back discomfort then leg lifts are good . I do ten in the mornings some - times . I try not to over - exercise .
Method : Lay on your back with legs stretched out straight . Lift one or both legs until approximately vertical . Let your legs back down on to the floor .
Repeat for ten cycles .
